Welcome to my ickle bit of T’interweb.

I’m a quinquagenarian husband/dad/grandad from the South Coast of the UK. I love personal productivity, minimalism, stoicism, humanism, reading, tech (Microsoft mostly for work), guitar, prog rock, gardening, West Ham United and Dagenham & Redbridge FC.

I’ll be musing on such topics here. That’s the plan.

  • That’s Life – general ramblings about life, humanism, stoicism, reading, retirement planning, and all other nuggets of life fluff that’s not a category in its own right.
  • Productivity – about development of a trusted personal productivity system based on my values, habits, areas of interest, and appropriate analogue and digital tools to Get Shit Done.
  • Binary Finery– I’ve been involved in Systems Development most of my career, though I’m not sure on how or why. I work with .NET, Azure and other Microsoft bits and pieces… I’ll be talking about those items here, as well as any other Tech things I think are worth musing about.
  • In the GarDunn – I do like a garden, or garDunn as I call it. I’m not a great garDunner, but I’m certainly enthusiastic, and learning about it. It’s a great hobby for both physical and mental health. Currently studying Horticulture thorugh a distance learning company. Oooh! 🌿
  • Food of Love – I’ve always loved my music. I played guitar and bass in a band, and even taught guitar with my own business for 10 years. Now I’m trying to get back into playing and learning again, as well as listening again to music that inspired me. Mostly progressive rock. Plus some “classic rock”. And a bit of classical to make me look edumacated.

Oh, and I’m not on social media.
Apart from YouTube for fun.

So maybe I am on Social Media.

Hey ho!
